New Web Services
WSU now offers RSOs the convenience of a new Content Management Solution (CMS). The new CMS has many new features to create and update pages with ease and flexibility. RSO's will now be able to manage their sites from anywhere without the need for code or programming skills with capability for live updates. Not only will content management be an easy task, but the CMS will allow RSO's the ability to alter the look and feel of their websites while still maintaining compliance with university web graphic design standards (www.web.wsu.edu ). Other equally important benefits of the CMS include:
- Upload images and pdfs
- Style and edit text and other content with text editing tools
- Ability to add, edit, or remove live news and events feeds
- Edit and update information on pages within the website
- Create and Manage Frequently Asked Questions page
- Manage RSS Feed information
New Services will be offered starting October 1, 2007. Site creation and setup will be based on a first come first serve basis.
